Piotr Wciślik

PhD, assistant professor and Scientific Coordinator of the Digital Humanities Centre of the Institute of Literary Research of the Polish Academy of Sciences. Develops interdisciplinary approaches in research on dissent and independent culture in Poland and Central Europe in the Cold War. His most recent book is Dissident Legacies of Samizdat Social Media Activism Unlicensed Print Culture in Poland 1976-1990 (Routledge 2021). With Maciej Maryl he coordinates the proceedings of the international scholarly network New Exploratory Phase in Research on East European Cultures of Dissent (NEP4DISSENT, COST Action 16213, 2017-2022).
