The repository’s principal goal is to disseminate the findings of researchers at IBL PAN through open access. The project participates in the effort to build a society based on knowledge, but it also serves to promote IBL PAN as a leading humanities institution in Poland. Both current publications, introduced by the institute’s researchers themselves, will become part of the repository just as much as older texts, which will be systematically digitised.
