The bio-bibliographical dictionary Polish Writers and Literary Scholars of the Turn of the 21st Century has been conceived as a documentary compendium providing basic facts about the new generation of writers – poets, prose writers, playwrights, literary critics, translators and scholars. Successive volumes covering new sets of writers and scholars who have played a major role in contemporary literary culture will be published according to the Dutch system (from A to Z) and then made available online on polscypisarze.ibl.waw.pl (ppibl.ibl.waw.pl). The Dutch system allows to react rapid to changes on the literary market and to develop entries on authors as they rise to prominence.
